NCME SIGNS "MOU" WITH DOE

WASHINGTON, DC (Tuesday, April 15, 2003) - The National Council of Minorities in Energy ("NCME") and the Department of Energy's, Office of Economic Impact and Diversity ("DOE") entered into an Memorandum of Understanding to promote and enhance the business opportunities for our member companies. The objective of the MOU is to formalize our collaborative intent to develop a sustained program that will contribute to our Nation's economy by promoting business opportunities for our member companies.

In addition, by entering into the MOU, NCME has been invited to become a member organization to DOE's Small Business Advisory Team, which will from time-to-time, give input to better serve the objectives of our small business constituents.
