Andrew
Levetown is a managing
director in the FTI Forensic and Litigation
Consulting practice and is based in
Mr.
Levetown was most
recently the president of a public company’s
litigation consulting division,
which included companies performing services in
the fields of computer
forensics, investigative due diligence,
electronic discovery and data
recovery. Prior to
that he was the
co-founder and chief executive officer of
CoreFacts, LLC, a leading computer forensics
and investigative consulting firm. Mr.
Levetown was a senior managing director at DSFX
International and a managing director
and counsel for Kroll Associates. Mr. Levetown
served as an Assistant United
States Attorney for the
Mr.
Levetown has
considerable experience investigating
allegations relating to potential FCPA
investigations, import and export matters and
qui tam investigations. In
one investigation of a corporate opponent, Mr.
Levetown’s team of investigators
identified numerous instances of fraud against
the federal government, violations
of federal criminal laws, tortious conduct
against private parties and violations
of the election laws. The target company paid
damages of approximately $1 billion
to resolve the resulting claims.
Mr. Levetown speaks frequently on issues pertaining to corporate crimes, trade secret theft, the use of advanced investigative techniques, subpoena and discovery response, offensive and defensive e-discovery strategies and spoliation avoidance. His work has been documented in national and legal publications and in reported decisions.
